Forescout Engineer, Sr.
JOB SUMMARY
The Forescout Engineer Sr. is responsible for:
Design and Integration of the CounterACT Enterprise deployment
Optimizing the administration of the Network Access Control (NAC) deployment
Engineering a best practice based Forescout solutions
Providing integration and support documentation
Creating processes for Network Access Control administration
Implementing application and hardware upgrades and maintenance
The associated duties include:
Remote/On-Site support and administration.
Modifying NAC polices.
Maintaining and updating standard NAC configurations (non-Licensed Plugins).
Monitoring the health of Forescout hardware and software in the environment.
Tracking all internal support cases and adhering to change management process.
Defining and creating of NAC polices.
Interfacing with ForeScout Customer Care and R&D for any escalations.
Managing NAC software and hardware upgrades.
Creating periodic custom reports
Trending health data for the Forescout environment for predictive analysis
Working with the ForeScout Project Manager to organize and align resources during implementation phases.
Reviewing any new product or service requirements to the Sales and Services teams.
This position will work closely with the Network Engineering, Firewall Engineering and the TO Security teams to develop the architecture, strategy, and support process for the overall platform.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements
Experience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as Cisco ISE, Next Generation Firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, SIEM applications, Load Balancers, high availability solutions, network management systems and virtual systems.
7+ years of experience in the IT related field which include the following:
3 years+ experience with network hardware configuration and troubleshooting. (Cisco preferred)
1 year+ of experience with Unix systems.
3 years+ of Information Assurance/Cyber Security experience.
3 years+ experience working with Windows based operating systems.
Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Splunk, Wireshark and tcpdump.
Ability to clearly document complicated steps and procedures.
Excellent communications skills, strong customer orientation, good organizational skills, self-driven with ability to multi-task on various projects and aptitude to learn new technologies and express them to the customer clearly.
Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments.
Ability to build relationships, communicate and work with all levels of management, vendors, business partners and external customers while exhibiting positive influence at all levels.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent industry experience
ForeScout Certified Administrator (FSCA) and ForeScout Certified Engineer (FSCE) or ability to attain in 6 months preferred
Industry Certifications such as CISSP, CASP, Security+, CEH, SANS (GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GPEN) are a plus
Competencies

Knowledge of Network Access Control and other security protocols
