Information Security Analyst

Description

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company’s information assets. This will be accomplished by:

  • Working with Technology Security’s Application Layer Firewall Technology, Intrusion Prevention Technology and Privileged Account Management Technology

  • Providing Technology Security expertise and consulting when needed.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience

  • Experience with network infrastructure, modern operating systems, database applications, web applications and other computing technologies

  • Hands-on experience with Security Technologies

  • Working knowledge of Network protocols (TCPI/routing)

  • Experience with Directory Services (Active Directory, LDAP, etc)

  • Ability to perform information security risk assessments and recommend actions to be taken

  • Experience promoting security as a business enablement function using documentation, metrics, and strong verbal communication

  • Experience with and ability to maintain confidentiality of data

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the support of Security Technologies specifically Application Layer Firewall Technology, Intrusion Prevention Technology and Privileged Account Management Technology.

  • Develop creative solutions to meet business needs while ensuring appropriate security controls and best practices are implemented

  • Partner with others to identify and resolve information security issues

  • Help business partners understand and apply information security concepts, processes and technologies

  • Maintain current knowledge of information security concepts, technologies and practices

  • Participate in projects and other duties as assigned
