Retirement Analyst

Job Description

This role will report directly to Retirement Manager.

Position will perform analytical tasks supporting the day-to-day management of the Employee Savings Plan, Pension Plans, and Non-Qualified Plans to ensure data integrity and proper plan administration, project support for the financial wellbeing programs including employee communications, education, financial planning, and data review.

Candidate will grow toward a strong knowledge of Retirement Programs, Total Rewards, and retirement legislation (ERISA). They will also facilitate partnerships with payroll and support our Operating Companies researching and identifying retirement needs and issues.

The position will be located in Atlanta. Currently the Retirement Team is virtual and plan to return to office in a hybrid manner.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Perform payroll biweekly processes and reconciliations to ensure the proper administration of the ESP and pension plan

  • Assist in creating employee communications to encourage better utilization of our programs

  • Assist with employee payments and administration of our nonqualified plans

  • Provide vendor support for our executive financial planning program

  • Perform data analytics for retirement program utilization and identify process efficiencies

Educational Requirements

  • A BS/BA degree with major or concentration in Mathematics or Finance is encouraged

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

  • Strong inquisitive nature and innovative mindset – asking questions and looking for ways to create efficiencies and effectiveness

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

  • Positive attitude and team player

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a commitment to accuracy, and attention to detail

  • Organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Ability to proactively build relationships and collaborate with both internal customers and external vendors

  • Self-starter with a desire to quickly learn new tasks and inquisitive for future career growth
