Job Summary

The Senior Brand Strategist will develop, execute and manage integrated advertising, brand management, and email strategies for multiple business units across the company. The Senior Brand Strategist works closely with Sales and Marketing, Product Managers, eBusiness, Customer Service and other business units to identify strategic needs and lead these teams to develop and implement marketing strategies, initiatives and brand campaigns to help drive market share, brand awareness and to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. As a result, the Senior Brand Strategist must understand the needs and objectives of their assigned clients and liaises closely with them throughout campaigns, meeting regularly to identify project-specific go-to-market strategies.

The Senior Brand Strategist will work closely with outside agencies to collaborate and execute strategies to achieve maximum brand awareness and exposure. The Senior Brand Strategist will work closely with their clients, the Digital Strategy and Brand Creative teams to ensure that advertising and email execution are compliant with company policies, meet corporate objectives, and are consistent with our email strategy guidelines. The qualified candidate will need to have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for products and services, current marketing trends, unique audience segmentation, and industry-specific issues.

Due to the oversized role digital media plays in driving brand favorability, the Senior Brand Strategist must be extremely knowledgeable on how to drive growth and brand affinity across multiple digital channels and create email marketing strategies to increase customer engagement.


  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Advertising, Marketing, Digital Communications, or other appropriate experience

  • Minimum 6 years developing and leading the development and execution of brand strategy, communication and/or experiential marketing plans as well as integrated campaigns across traditional and digital channels that include web, social, email, mobile, events, radio, television, and print (be prepared to demonstrate experience)

  • Minimum 6 years of client/account management, project management, brand strategy and/or product marketing experience. Corporate/External Advertising, PR, Sports Marketing agency experience preferred.

  • Firm grasp of email marketing and social media best practices, optimization tactics, and performance measuring analytics tools such as Facebook Insights, Eloqua, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics or similar performance measurement tools.

  • Working knowledge of digital media best practices for programmatic ads, video and SEM/SEO.


  • Develop, review and manage advertising, brand and media strategies to achieve business and communications objectives

  • Provide marketing support and assistance to various business units for promotional activities.

  • Oversee all phases of marketing campaigns including promotional planning, research, design, content development, execution, metrics and ongoing analysis.

  • Develop targeted “digital only” paid media campaigns as budget allows.

  • Leads Communication Plan and strategy for programs focused on sustainability and innovation. Communication plan includes paid media, email, social media and external and internal messaging and sponsorships.

  • Manage agency and vendor relationships

  • Work collaboratively with team members across the company to ensure campaigns developed are in line with brand standards

  • Work closely with Digital Strategy team on the development of assigned clients digital editorial content calendar to include email, web and social media

  • Responsible for sharing with assigned clients their monthly digital metrics, insights, as well as best practices and trends

  • Work with Digital Strategy and Brand Strategy team leaders to establish digital (including email) campaign goals and success metrics

  • Advise department leaders on advertising and digital marketing trends; be the brand strategy team’s digital pro
