We are looking for a top level Generator Field Technician/EPG/Power Generation Mechanic in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to play a critical role in the service, repair, and maintenance of all makes/models of commercial/industrial generators and switchgear.

Repair and Service most major Makes and Models of Generator Sets
Inspect, Repair, Service and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on Equipment
Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo
Troubleshoot switchgear and automatic transfer switches
Provide on call services as required
Deliver exceptional customer service
3+ years of commercial/industrial experience working on generators, ATS and switchgear
Up to 50% overnight travel
OEM Training & Certification and/or EGSA Certification preferred
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment assessment, background check and drug screen
Strong written and verbal English skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook email/calendars
Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work. Physical Activity: 85% physical activity required on customer site working with equipment, 15% form completion, email, other administrative tasks and completing technical support activities by way of telephone and computer communication.
May involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-75 pounds).
Frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands, to grasp, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
Combination of climbing and balancing to include climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to Protective Glasses, Protective Gloves, and Protective Footwear as required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to read computer screens, paper documents, equipment.
Ability to perceive and discriminate sounds, depth, texture, and visual cues or signals.
Up to 10 consecutive hours driving heavy duty truck.
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours.
Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally and hear others speaking.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background check, drug test and MVR clearance.
