As the Product Support Sales Representative , you will provide exceptional customer service by promoting the sales of service agreements for the service department. This position will be charged with covering assigned territories and establishing and maintaining customer relationships that focus on winning both immediate service needs, and long-term maintenance agreements. You will also participate in quality customer service activities designed to enhance sales volume and excel in customer satisfaction.

The Product Support Sales Rep is responsible for improving the business success of our customers through direct face-to-face contact and for increasing parts and service sales for power generation products. This position is located in the Dallas/Forth Worth, TX area.

We are seeking someone with prior sales experience, preferably in the industry, including parts and/or service. We expect you to possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and the desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work in an assigned territory with limited supervision is essential to this position as well.

Requirements

  • Possesses a Mechanical / Electrical aptitude

  • Prior knowledge of commercial engine products, recommended maintenance schedules, and technical experience to support service sales

  • Driving record that meets company standards and holds a valid US driver's license

  • Minimum of two years' sales experience is required

  • Power generation and/or diesel equipment experience preferred

  • Requires 25% - 50% overnight travel
