Field Service Manager
The Field Service Manager (FSM) manages our Field Engineers, offers in person customer service to our clients and works hand in hand with the sales department to ensure the overall satisfaction of our clients. The key objectives of this position are to maximize employee safety, field engineer productivity and utilization, quality customer service, and cost control.
Working closely with the Customer Service Manager and Regional Director, the FSM is to provide visionary leadership within the defined region, resulting in effective and quality on-time execution of scheduled events, adequate staffing management, maximized personnel utilization, ongoing employee career development, overall cost and inventory control, and achievement of total revenue and margin targets.
8 years working in a service-related industry with 4 years in the generator or utility industry.
4 years of management experience.
Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical generator operation is a plus.
Customer service experience to include negotiation, scheduling and dispute resolution.
Excellent typing and computer skills; proficient with Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience working with an ERP or Service Management system.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Have a valid driver’s license and maintain a personal vehicle.
Travel up to 50% of the time.
High School Diploma or GED.
Able to pass a drug test, background check and have a clean driving record.
