Shipping & Receiving Technician I (No Post Conversion Temp to Perm)
Description
This individual will be responsible for supporting the Close out and Shipping department.
Minimum Requirements:
Motivated and organized team player with a positive attitude
Works under moderate supervision
High School Diploma/GED
Forklift experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must have basic computer skills
Basic understanding of Shipping procedures
Individual must be able to operate hand tools (Drill, Impact Driver, rivet and nail gun).
Able to operate various types of lifts. (Stand up, Walkie Ryder, sit down and pallet jacks)
Essential Duties:
Receive and store, equipment and other incoming items, notify receptions on time to Inventory team.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner.
Follow procedures for orderly and organized material storage with the possible need to use certain equipment such as a forklift or hand truck.
Documents and Processes the order shipment.
Comply with all procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
Work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods
Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
Ability to learn and operate overhead crane.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, pulling, climb ladder, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch
