Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to obtain and organize relevant information from counterparties and nominate natural gas to satisfy the commitments of Traders and Marketers.

This position is being posted as a job family.

Experience scheduling for the Mid-Con region is a benefit.

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities by Competency

Functional Expertise:

  • Schedules accurate daily volumes and prices for various contracts with producers and buyers meeting all deadlines

  • Effectively segment transport for full optimization of capacity

  • Analyze and communicate pipeline constraints and restrictions.

  • Updates ENDUR database for Accounting department to prepare invoices and statements.

Business Acumen:

  • Assists in resolving billing discrepancies and responds to questions pertaining to transactions

  • Makes recommendations to trading regarding contract commitments, transportation capacity, tariff regulations, operational conditions, market area supply alternatives, optimization and storage strategies.


  • Contacts gas producers and buyers to ascertain their requirements (e.g., contract numbers).

  • Communicates changes with Traders and Schedulers (e.g., rate, tariff, fuel, and operational conditions).

Driving Results:

  • Works with Information Technology & Systems (IT&S) to test, implement, and troubleshoot new systems as Scheduling Subject Matter Experts.


Scheduling Associate:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or Finance


  • Equivalent academic education and experience

Scheduling Analyst:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in gas scheduling

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or Finance


  • Equivalent academic education and experience

Senior Scheduling Analyst:

  • 6 years of experience in gas scheduling

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Economics, or Finance


  • Equivalent academic education and experience

Specific Skills & Knowledge:


  • MS Excel - intermediate proficiency

  • MS Access - basic proficiency

  • MS Outlook - basic proficiency

  • Multi-tasking

  • Negotiation

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships
