Southern Company Welder - 2nd Shift in Randleman, North Carolina
We have an immediate need for Welders in our Randleman, NC facility. This opportunity is on the 2nd shift (2-10:30 p.m.) with additional overtime required as needed. Our welding team is responsible for fabrication and welds being completed by following engineering drawings and meeting quality and safety standards. Knowledge of quality weld inspections and welding machines is critical!
Minimum of 5 solid years of welding experience required (for this shift)
Experience with MIG welding technique
Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings containing weld symbols, work instructions, UL Standard, and written directions
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours at a time during shift
High School Diploma (or GED) preferred but not required
