Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Talladega Business Office

Summary of Position Duties

The Talladega Business Office is looking for a highly dependable, self-motivated individual who enjoys helping customers and working in a team environment. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, processing customer payments, processing service order requests, handling customer inquiries, resolving billing issues, completing billing adjustments, issuing payment arrangements, active collections, final bills and merchandise collections. Additional responsibilities include maintaining daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by Sarbanes Oxley, selling non-core products and services, and supporting appliance sales.

Job Experience and Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Customer Service experience required

  • Prior experience working in a business office setting

  • Previous cash handling experience preferred

  • Computer experience in a Windows based environment preferred

  • Occasional emergency call-out and extended hours

  • Minimum of two years recent experience working with computer data base applications

Job Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn Cashier for Windows Applications

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to learn the Company’s Customer Service Standards

  • Ability and willingness to make decisions mutually beneficial to our customers and company

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
