Job Summary

The Operations Supervisor will lead a statewide team responsible for evaluating and coordinating the design, engineering, construction and maintenance of SiteView equipment on regulated and unregulated assets. This position includes, but not limited to, coaching, mentoring and motivating team members to provide customer service to our internal and external customers, ensuring that compliance with existing GPC specifications and processes are done for both internal teams (Technical Account Executives, supply chain, engineering and construction) and third parties (integrators and partners).

The Supervisor will ensure that quality controls are in place, provide performance feedback to the construction team, contractors and integrators. The TOS will approve payment of invoices and assist with project designs. The Supervisor will support the Technical Sales team in the strategic execution to grow the SiteView product. They’re responsible for ensuring that SiteView systems are safely installed, within cost estimates and comply with all code specifications. The candidate must have good customer service skills, communication skills, and computer skills.

The successful candidate will support storm restoration efforts and be available to travel in support of the company’s SERP (Storm Evaluation and Restoration Procedure).

This position will provide statewide coverage for SiteView projects and will be filled at a Level 6 Exempt.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the SiteView construction team

  • Assess and implement process improvements and best practices

  • Provide timely feedback to construction team members

  • Work with the following to facilitate effective installation and implementation according to all GPC and surveillance industry standards: Technical Sale Manager, Technical Account Executives, Technical Analyst, Technical Design Engineering, Construction Coordinator and others as needed.

  • Ensure SiteView construction team meets business goals and delivers on customer service goals

  • Point of contact on escalation of troubleshooting efforts, to respond to customer issues as necessary

  • Review and approval of contract labor unit sheets associated with each project.

  • Assist internal and external personnel with issues related to SiteView facilities

  • Experience with surveillance VMS systems such as Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone and others

  • Experience or working knowledge of major camera suppliers such as Axis, Avigilon, Bosch, etc.

  • Knowledge of designing RF or wireless networks using Unlicensed and Licensed radio bands

  • Knowledge of fiber optic design of complex networks between MW radio and Optical Data equipment such as switches and routers.

  • Preferred experience with FCC regulations for commissioning microwave radio systems

  • Advanced technical knowledge in the network discipline of Enterprise Physical Security and Cloud IoT solutions

  • System Integration experience including integration of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire security systems

  • In-depth knowledge of networking principles and the IP protocol

  • Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows OS

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical / engineering discipline or equivalent experience

  • IT certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA A a plus

Education & Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in technical / engineering discipline or equivalent experience preferred

  • Leadership experience preferred

  • Experience with surveillance design, material and construction

  • Customer service champion

  • Sales experience a plus

  • Working knowledge of JETS and LAMP or other job estimating and tracking applications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
