PowerSecure is searching for an experienced Lighting Auditor to join our Energy Efficiency team and our growing organization. Travel is required based on the project location which be predominantly in the region east of the Mississippi. Your home base is negotiable!

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting audits at customer sites which include categorizing and cataloging all existing lighting systems and components. Your audit will contain critical information needed to be forwarded promptly to the proposal development team. While you are juggling these responsibilities, we expect you to be a team player and be diligent at meeting your deadlines and completing daily reports. In addition, a critical part of this job is being flexible enough to travel 70% of the time and sometimes on short notice.

High School Diploma
Ability and willingness to travel 70% of the time
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Investment Grade Auditor (IGA)
Ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints
Ability to walk and stand at customer sites for up to 7 hours a day
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Ability carry an 8’ ladder throughout buildings to access ceilings and inspect lighting fixtures
Ability to walk perimeter of buildings, campuses, and parking structures while carrying approximately 75 pounds
Ability to withstand various, and sometimes extreme, weather conditions to include heat, cold, and precipitation
Proficient in Microsoft Word Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 25 years of age
