Job Summary:

The Project Manager – Data Analytics and Reporting is a strategic member of the PMO, responsible for leveraging advanced analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and visualization tools to enhance project and capital portfolio performance. This role supports the PMO’s broader digital transformation initiatives, including the deployment of enterprise cost management platform, project and portfolio dashboards, and AI-driven reporting.

The position will lead efforts to improve execution accountability across scope, schedule, and budget, and will develop models, dashboards, and trend analyses that inform decision-making at both project and executive levels. The role also includes reporting oversight of two contractors supporting departmental initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain sustainable dashboards and reports using Power BI and other analytics tools to support stakeholders across all organizational levels.

  • Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into project controls and reporting frameworks to enable predictive analytics and early threat detection.

  • Lead the development and lifecycle management of project management software applications, including configuration, deployment, maintenance, and support.

  • Collaborate with project teams, PMs, and leadership to design and refine models that monitor project and portfolio health and performance.

  • Interface with enterprise platforms and databases to ensure comprehensive reporting coverage.

  • Supervise and guide two contractors supporting PMO initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Champion data governance and quality assurance across analytics workflows and reporting systems.

  • Support PMO maturity roadmap and executive reporting modernization , including KPI dashboards and scorecards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, accounting, finance, or other related field.

  • Proven experience in project management and data analytics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI including data modeling, dashboard and report development.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application in project environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Experience with enterprise software and AI tools.

  • Background in managing contractors or external vendors in a technical environment.
